I have a profound interest in Boxing, so much that I recently wrote to Boxing News about David Haye's first defence of his WBO world heavyweight championship belt against the American John Ruiz. My thoughts made this weeks letter of the week, because believe me when I tell you I know this GAME! FOR me, David Haye did nothing wrong. John Ruiz is a world-class opponent who got taken apart by Haye's lightning-fast reflexes, power and ring generalship. Ruiz was never going to bother Haye with his tactics of taking shots but still coming forward. There wasn't the speed or the dynamics. He even tried the old double jab and right hook, but that won't wash with David, who can see those shots coming. I recently listened to Kind of BLue and remembered how fucking inspiring it is ! The music cuts through bone and takes you on a journey, to a place deep inside. You instantly forget about style, genre, musicians and even the instruments. I can't describe what it is, but the instruments begin to speak in a language that you feel, making you visualize the memory montage that sits in the back of you mind. I will even confess to walking with both my spirit guides whilst listening to Kind of Blue. There has been no other album that has given me such profound experience of wanting to laugh and cry at the exact same time. Peep magazine loves you Miles.

The Kitch-en Gallery opening night purred away real horror-show, a nice warm vibraty feeling all through your gutty wuks. I hung around for a while with other travellers of the night then left with two charming young devotchka's and headed west. We were all feeling a bit shagged, fagged and fashed, having been an evening with so many sophisto's, so stopped off at Alvinos Bar for a night-cap. Viddy well my brothers, viddy well.
